Golfers @ Kingsbarns Golf Links, where Golf has been enjoyed over the links land since 1793

Welcome to Kingsbarns, enjoy our guide to the local area, courtesy of Premier Stays Fife.

KINGSBARNS is a wonderful area to explore, and has a truly mesmerising beach known locally as Cambo Sands. Two miles of golden sandy beach and expansive skies provide a magical backdrop in the early morning and evenings in particular. If you are able to stay locally in our fantastic Kingsbarns property, it’s worthwhile waking early or staying late here to appreciate the incredible pink and purple skies on show.

Don’t worry if you haven’t brought your thermos or a picnic to the beach. The Cheesy Toast Shack is open pretty much year-round and provides hot and cold drinks and incredibly melt-in-the-middle toasties, from mac and cheese to cheddar & chorizo varieties. Nothing beats fresh hot food on a breezy Kingsbarns beach day! Exceptionally clean facilities mean you can conveniently wash your hands after some rock-pooling or sandcastle-making and make a real day of it.

Away from the beach, a peaceful stroll around Kingsbarns village will take you past a handy local shop, post office, church and popular family-run hotel and restaurant. The Inn at Kingsbarns holds barbeques in the summer, or if the weather is chillier you can nurse a dram in their Bar or Snug.
